Here is the story of a blue collar family that loses its beloved Dad suddenly, a Catholic family struggling to recover, a mill town in decline, and the melting pot of America showcased in a small Maine town. Sounds good? Unfortunately, only awarded two stars on Goodreads.

The book has all the elements of good drama. But somehow the end result lacks real emotional depth.
And don’t be fooled by the title. The link to the Kennedy assassination in 1963 comes late and seems forced. I don’t recommend this one.
