Two fascinating groups of contest winners to share today.
First, the winners of the 2021 European Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. The top prize went to the image above of jellyfish by Angel Fitor. Although it looks like 11 individual jellyfish, there were actually only two. Fitor fired the flash 11 times.
Second, and much more sobering are from the Siena International Photo Awards, in the COVID-19 category. They document some of the isolating, tragic, and touching moments of the pandemic. Like this photo below. You can see them all HERE.
